If you have been following my dual-sport motorcycle coast to coast ride you know that in 2016 we completed the Atlantic Ocean to western Colorado section which is about 3,000 miles of the 5,500 miles of the Trans America Trail (TAT) (ends in Oregon). I documented the complete TAT 2016 on my previous blog (www.rvrrunner-019.blogspot.com). I decided to start a new blog for the next section from CO to OR which we hope to complete next year.
This will be a short blog because the only real news I have is I will be using a new motorcycle for TAT 2017.
This is a 2016 KTM 350 EXC-f and it replaces my trustworthy 2015 Honda CRF250L that I used for TAT 2016. Lots of reasons I made the switch that I will cover in Post 2 this week-end but just wanted to get my new blog started today.
